Joliet Symphony Orchestra
"Declaration" was selected as the winner of the 2019 Joliet Symphony Orchestra composition competition! The orchestra will perform it on a pair of concerts April 2020.

On January 8 Ben gave a presentation to the composition students at The Juilliard School. The talk focused on collaborative composition projects, composing music for media, and the differences in composing for media and concert music.
Allentown Symphony Orchestra

Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra
The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra will be performing "American Frontier" on May, 16. The composition has been selected as the winner of their Audience of the Future composition contest!
Benefit Concert
Ben's piece "Ascending" will be performed in a benefit concert for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Cambridge, MA on March, 5. The orchestra will be made up of students from Berklee College of Music, Longy School of Music, and the New England Conservatory.
The American Prize
Ben was one of four composers to receive an Honorable Mention for the American Prize in Composition - Orchestra (professional division) for Reconnecting.
Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
Ben's music was featured as the opening theme of NBC's broadcast of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
President Street Station
Ben's composition "President Street Station" will be performed by Symphony Number One on Nov. 2 at 12pm. It will be streamed via The Baltimore Sun.
July 4th Concert
The Central Ohio Symphony will be performing Ben's composition American Frontier at their annual 4th of July concert.
LexPhil New Music Experiment
Ben has been selected for the Lexington Philharmonic's 2016 New Music Experiment. Members of the orchestra and the Central Kentucky Youth Orchestras will perform Ben's composition "Declaration" at the workshop on April 16, 2016.

Central Ohio Symphony

Reno Phil Youth Strings Symphonia
The Reno Philharmonic Youth Strings Symphonia premiered Ben's composition "Ascending" on May 18. The commission was a gift from the orchestra's conductor Carol Laube.
RECONNECTING

Broadway's Finest screened at the AMC Lowes 19th St. in Manhattan on May 8. The film received 12 festival awards and is now available on iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play.
Susanville Symphony
Ben won first place in the 2013 Susanville Symphony Composition Competition, American Composer’s Category. The Symphony premiered his orchestral piece, Deception, at their Modern Composer concerts in April, with Ben conducting. Watch it here: Deception
